Parent Discussion and Education Group Update

What exactly is this meeting about?  Why should I want to be involved?  Many people want to learn more about Cystic Fibrosis, and even more want to help others in some way or another.  This group can meet you where you are whether you want to learn or want to help others.

This is a time for parents to get together and learn more about CF to be the most effective in taking care of their child’s health.  Our discussion groups are held quarterly to provide you with the opportunity to meet other families who have a child or children with CF.

Our next meeting is scheduled for April 13^th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the afternoon.  You will receive a flyer in the mail in early April with more details.

The staff from the CF Foundation will be there to inform us on how to be involved in Great Strides – the annual walk held to raise money for CF research.

The location is in Birmingham – just off of Interstate 459 at the Acton Road exit.  We will be meeting at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, across the street from McDonalds.

We understand that most people have no idea what we go through with fighting CF and we want to band together to provide care for one another and fight CF. We would love to see everyone there!
