Parent Discussion and Education Group Update
This is a time for parents to get together and learn more about Cystic Fibrosis. Our discussion groups are held quarterly to provide you with the opportunity to meet other families who have a child or children with CF and to learn more about CF.
Our next meeting will be held July 21st, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The topic to be discussed is exercise, posture, and CF. Our speaker will be Jane Keith, PT. We will be sending out a flyer with more information during early July.
This group is geared for parents and we meet every third Saturday of every third month from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. The first hour is dedicated to education of our choice, depending on the previous meeting, and usually a speaker. The second hour is learning from one another.
We meet at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL. Briarwood is located off of the Acton Road exit from I-459, across from McDonald's. Just follow the signs!
We understand that most people have no idea what we go through fighting CF and we want to band together to fight CF and provide care for one another. We would love to see everyone there!
