Parent Discussion and Education Group Update
This is a time for parents to get together and learn more about how to live, learn and teach about CF to be a better guide and parent to your child. The January meeting was a huge success. Suzanne Reeves educated us on how to get the school to work for the parents through IEP's and using Special Education programs. It was very practical and many questions were asked. There are many laws out there to protect us from not failing school due to missing to many days. Thank you Suzanne for educating us.
Our next meeting will be in Birmingham on April 15th. The issue to be discussed is SSI, INSURANCE & CF - on how and when to get on SSI.
