Parent Discussion and Education Group Update

This is a time for parents to get together and learn more about how to live, learn, and teach about CF to be a better guide and parent to your child.  We thank the CF Foundation for coming to share their vision for the 2000 – 2001 year.  The foundation has a new wonderful staff.  We had several visitors that were newly diagnosed patients.  It is always exciting to see new families want to learn more about CF and be an active participant in fighting this together.

This newsletters and website is committed to building up the community of CF. The best way though to truly have a sense of community is being able to get to know people who have a common interest and know what you are going through in life or have similar situations.  This group formed to do just that.

The next meeting is set for October 21^st.  The families decided to develop relationships with one another by having a grill out.  Want to have fun and pig out?  Then please join us for our next meeting.  It is from 1 PM – 3 PM on October 21^st in Birmingham.  For more info, call Staci at (205) 939-5494.
